On the 8th of March, I went to Nanjing museum with my aunt. The Nanjing museum is located on East zhongshan Road. The Nanjing museum is one of the biggest museums in china, so I choose Nanjing museum to visit it .Also, the Nanjing museum is fee to visit. The Nanjing museum really has many artwork and stuff in the ancient.
When I came into the museum, I felt fascinating and wonderful. The museum is very big. There are many different small museums in it. It has Ancient Chinese earthen ware, ancient Chinese lacquer, ancient Chinese jade, fabric and embroidery hall, ancient bronze, Ming and Qing porcelain and ancient treasure. I was excited because there are too many artworks to see broadly immediately. However, I was interested in jade or fabric and embroidery. I saw carving jade picture. This picture tells people how to make jade and what is the process of making jade in ancient. This picture shows people clearly every step. This picture uses many clay figurines to show how to do it. This artwork is creative and interesting. Another artwork which I am interested in is the cloth that emperor wore that made by cloud brocade. Cloud brocade is head of stuff in Nanjing. Making one piece of cloud brocade spent too much time on it. Cloud brocade focus on color and pattern. I saw cloud brocade has five dragons and red color in it. It means this cloud brocade wore for emperor. Red represents happy and marriage. Maybe this cloud brocade used in marriage day for emperor.
Though this visit Nanjing museum, I learned more about Chinese culture in ancient. I felt excited to have a wonderful visit.
The environment in Tacos is romantic and beautiful. The light is a little dark .The lights give energy out, and we felt warmer from the lights. The people eating in there most are couples. They were enjoying the environment and service in Tacos. The service in Tacos is just so-so. I have not pay attention to service because I was happy to talk with my friends.
It was not the first time I came to Tacos, but I did not know the famous food in this restaurant. I heard that mango pudding and Roast whole chicken wings are famous and most delicious food in Tacos, so Zoe ordered two kinds of food for all of classmates. I ordered Gritting Macaroni with Bologna's and tomato sauce. I think it is delicious, but I don’t like this food. I consider this food is like pasta, so I ordered this. It tasted strange. I don’t like flavour.However; I was very hungry in that day. I ate most. Then, I also ordered strawberry ice cream. I like it. This strawberry ice cream tasted different from another ice cream. The ice cream has milk in it. It tasted like strawberry milkshake. Everyone all ate roast chicken. I ate it, too. The meat inside of chicken is soft. The chickens smell delicious. I do not recommend Tacos to other people, because the price of food is high. This restaurant is not suit for students.
We have a good time in Tacos. We ate full and talked happily.
Unconsciously Christmas is coming. We will celebrate it because we are in a Canadian school. We also were celebrating Christmas as the same as foreign school. Most of us were excited. On 14th of December, Ms.bartell led some students went to Catholicism church. Catholicism church will celebrate a Christmas service from 2:00 to 4:00. It is located in Machou Street.
Christmas is western festival. When I was a child, I spend every Christmas. Every Christmas I received gift from Santa. Although gift was not from Santa, was from my parent. But I believe have Santa in the world. I also believe in god, so I choose Catholicism church.
When I came into the church, I saw clearly “we stay with god” the Chinese in the middle of the church. I was curious and excited. There were many foreign people in the church, and many elder people. I was surprised because the host was starting talking. She spoke in English. I thought whether all the party is spoken English. I asked the people near me. She is the believer of Catholicism. She told me today was special day in order to have normal way to welcome the Christ born .I was admiring her. At two o’ clock, the service began with a song named’ o come, o come Emmanuel ‘Everybody must be stand up. We were holding the paper and saw the lyric. But we all could not sing with believers. I was very curious to saw the believers’ behaviors. They were pure-headed for the Christ. Then I saw prayer, lessons, drama and so on. Many children and elder people were acting in the performance. However, they spoke English not very well. They tried their best to act the best play to thank for Christ. I usually did not understand what they were acting, so I felt a litter boring. I still respect and admire them.
I like this experience. It makes me know more about the Christ, and saw the believers.
They are all kind to other people. I was very grateful to the person who sits near me. She was kind and helpful. I helped me know more knowledge about god.
